The Unmasked Circle

A progressive, secular men's circle in London — a place to drop the act, speak plainly, and be heard without the pressure to fix everything.

Who am I?

I'm a London-based psychotherapist who believes men deserve a better way to connect. In a city that moves as fast as this one, it's easy to feel like you always have to have it all together. I created this as a place to drop that act.

This isn't about being "alpha" or following a specific ideology — it's a progressive, secular space for guys looking for more than small talk. A place to be honest about what's actually going on in your life.

My Philosophy

Facilitated, Not Clinical

This is a support circle — professionally facilitated but communal, not a formal therapy session with clinical goals and notes.

The No-Fixing Rule

I'm here to observe and witness, not to problem-solve. Support means listening, not advising — unless specifically asked.

What We Might Talk About

The Mask

What version of yourself do you show the world vs. who you are alone?

Fatherhood

How did your father's presence — or absence — shape your view of being a man?

Work & Worth

How much of your identity is tied to your productivity or salary?

Friendship

The difficulty of making deep male friendships in adulthood.

Emotions & The Shadow

Which emotion is hardest for you to express? Anger is often a cover for sadness. We welcome the difficult stuff — anger, shame, fear — provided it's expressed without harming others in the circle.

House Rules

Confidentiality

Who is here and what is said stays here. No exceptions.

The "I" Way

We speak from the first person — "I feel," "My experience." No unsolicited advice or "you should."

Presence Over Performance

Titles and work personas stay at the door. We're here as men, not as our resumes.

No Fixing

We witness and support, not solve — unless specifically asked.

Structure & Commitment

The Closed Circle

The same 9 men for 12 sessions in person.

Consistency is the therapy — if men dip in and out, the container leaks and others stop sharing.

The Split Strategy

After 12 sessions, the group splits. This prevents the circle from becoming a clique and allows experienced members to become mentors in the next cycle.

Biweekly Cadence

Twice a month is the sweet spot — frequent enough for momentum, respectful of busy schedules.

Pricing & Access

£20 per session

Upfront Commitment

First 2 sessions paid in advance to reduce early drop-outs and honour the group.

Ready to Drop the Act?

If you're navigating work stress, relationship hurdles, or just looking for a sense of perspective — this circle is for you. A group of men who listen, speak plainly, and offer mutual support.

Small & Closed

Maximum 9 men, same group for 12 sessions in person.

Professionally Facilitated

London-based therapist guiding each 90-minute session.

Confidential & Safe

What's said in the circle stays in the circle.
